Move Up Policy

CCHA Youth Hockey Move Up Policy

2.       Requests to move up must be submitted in writing to the HDC

3.       The decision to allow a player to play for an up team will be made by the HDC after coordination with the player's parents and the coaches at the levels involved.

4.       Factors to be considered are:

b.      The best interests of the program

i.                     How does it affect numbers in each age group?

c.       The decision is in the best interests of the player.

ii.                   Is the player mature enough physically and mentally to fraternize with older players?

**Note-The request to move from your assigned MN hockey group to another must be made in writing to the HDC prior to September 1, 2011.  Please note that this is only a request and requests must be approved by the HDC in conjunction with the coaches involved.  Moves made after Sep. 1st will only be done in extremely special circumstances by the HDC.

Registration Fees for 2011-2012

The .pdf files below illustrate the cost of hockey for the 2011-2012 season.

For Mites, 6U or 8U players, the costs shown will not change unless registration levels vary significantly from our estimates. So the costs you see are most likely to be the final cost. Any adjustments to fees would be small, and if needed, would be made in November.

For upper levels (Squirt/10U and above), the .pdf shows the cost of playing on the lowest level team (C for youth, B for girls). Then once tryouts are complete, the final cost is calculated and shared among the exact number of players on each team. Any additional amounts due, or refunds, are assessed to player's accounts in November.

Note that the $30 USA Hockey membership and $10 MN Hockey membership dues are not included in your CCHA fees since you will be paying them to USA Hockey before you register with us.

Your CCHA fees include ice costs, tournament entry fees, District 6 fees for referees, admin and HEP, jerseys and socks, equipment, tryout expenses, goalie credits and training, FLEXXCOACH software fees for your coaches, coaching stipends (only applies to non-parent coached teams), administration (everything else including office expenses, website fees, credit card fees, bank fees, stipends, scholarships, insurance, sunshine fund, etc.), concessions fee, and gold (MEGA) fundraising cards.

When calculating your family budget for hockey, you may also be asked to pay for a slush fund,  team apparel,  and travel to out-of-town tournaments. These items are not part of your CCHA fees.

If you have further questions about CCHA fees, you may direct them to any board member.
