Westwood Sports

Westwood Sports provides sports equipment for Hockey, Lacrosse, Football, Soccer, Baseball and Softball.  Westwood recently acqired the old Gold Medal location.  Westwood has been supporting youth sports scross the Twin Cities for many years.

Breakaway Hockey

Dave Snuggerud and Andy Brink have been providing our community various training camps and core skills development for many years.  Outside of their  business, both Andy and Dave have volunteered to coach and participate in various roles in the CCHA over the years. 

Thread-tastic Embroidery Shoppe

Gemini Athletic is the company that made our current hockey jerseys/sweaters for all upper level teams.  Chris Bonvino and team continues to step forward to help support youth sports in our community.

Terrence Fogarty Artist, LLC

Terrence Fogarty grew up on the east side of St. Paul Minnesota. As a boy, his father would take him to University of Minnesota football games at venerable Memorial Stadium. He took it all in, from the old stadium scoreboard to the roar of the fans to the billowing sound of the University band. Terrence's love for art and his fascination with the world of sports fueled a career as an artist. Fogarty's paintings reflect traditions in both subject matter and technique. The technique is traditional; oil paint applied to a blank canvas with a brush. No airbrushes or computer enhancement, just the age-old craft of manipulating paint in painstaking detail. Fogarty's subject matter is steeped in tradition as well, covering everything from small town ballparks to pond hockey. The originality, use of color and striking compositions are appreciated by art collectors around the country.

Bill Mork Memorial

Bill Mork was everyone’s best friend.

Bill played all the way up through the Edina youth hockey program and would ultimately help the Hornets win a memorable high school state championship in 1984. He would go on to play for Gustavus Adolphus College before meeting and marrying his wife, Lisa.

Once they had Children, Bill got into coaching. He had a special talent with children and they were naturally drawn to him.

“He wore it all here,” Lisa Mork said as she pointed to her heart. “He had just a really bright, warm personality. And kids knew that.”

On February 18, 2009, a tragic auto accident took Bill’s life. He was 43.

Friends, Family and the hockey community immediately rallied around his legacy by putting together the Bill Mork Memorial Golf Tournament. Proceeds benefit youth hockey in his honor.  For the 2010-2011 season, a $5000 donation was made to the Herb Brooks Foundation's Rink Rat program and sponsorship money was given to the CCHA and Edina youth programs.
