BREAKDOWN OF 6U VS 8U:
6U Girls - Generally Kindergarteners and 1st graders.
- Depending on numbers, there are typically 2-3 evenly balanced teams. Girls skate 1 hour on Saturdays and 1 hour on Sundays. Sundays will become scrimmages as the season progresses. One optional outdoor weekday practice is added once weather permits.
8U Girls - Generally 2nd and 3rd graders.
- Depending on numbers, there are 3 or 4 teams, divided based on like-skilled players. Girls skate 1 hour on a weekday, 1 hour on Saturdays and 1 hour on Sundays. Typically, the Sunday is a scrimmage. One optional outdoor weekday practice is added weather permitting.
