What are the Mite Levels in the CCHA?
Rookie, Termites and Mini-Mites are managed by the Lower Mite Commissioner and have a dedicated Lower Mite Page. For questions about these levels, please direct your questions to lowermite@cchockey.org.

Mite/8U Coaches Need the Following BEFORE you can be on the ice:
1) USA Hockey Registration as a coach (need each year) http://www.usahockey.com/coachingcertification
2) MITE/8U age Module (good until coach moves to anther level i.e. U10, U12, etc http://www.usahockey.com/coachingcertification
3) USA Hockey SafeSport Cert (must be renewed each year) http://www.usahockey.com/safesporttraining
4) Background check form filled on - MN Hockey Website http://screening.minnesotahockey.org/
Use CCHA login credentials: Association - Chaska/Chanhassen, District: 6
5) CDC Concussion Certification and Form

6) CCHA Coaching application
Prior to 12/31 - The coach must attend a CEP Level 1 class. If they are not a CEP level 1 on Jan 1st they can not coach.

Here are a few videos of mite level skills that you can be working on any time you are not on the ice. The best way to improve your on ice stickhandling and shooting skills is to also practice them off ice.
