CONCESSIONS

CONCESSION STAND SHIFTS

There are 2 types of concession stand shifts which can be claimed in Dibs: Volunteer shifts and Ice Credit shifts.

Concession stand shifts- Credit will be given for the exact length of the posted shift. Please arrive 5-10 minutes before the start of your shift to ease shift transitions.

A large portion of volunteer hours will be available during tryouts and during the Brick City Tournament (Thanksgiving weekend). There will be additional volunteer hours available later but we suggest you take advantage of the opportunities early in the season.

Volunteer opportunities are available on a first come/first serve basis. Once you have registered and are in the system, you can sign up for your shifts at any time.

You’re responsible for either completing your volunteer shift or ensuring that someone else does. If it’s far enough in advance of your shift, you can request a cancellation shift on-line. If this is not possible, you will need to find someone else to complete your shift. You can try families on your team or other hockey families who you know. If you still can’t find someone and no one completes your scheduled shift, you’ll be assessed a no-show fee of $125/hour.

The no-show will be noted on the sign-in sheet by those volunteers present or by administrative personnel. $125 per no-show hour will be applied to your account. The current status of your volunteer deposit will also be available on your online Volunteer Record. No-shows put a strain on those who do show up, and no one likes to be in that position, so please do your utmost to ensure your shifts are covered.

Detailed procedures are located in the concession stands.
